Following on from the huge success of the pervious years we have improved our event even further again this year. \nWe are delighted to welcome Murphy Browne Estate Agents Valuers & Auctioneers as our main sponsor this year and also co-sponsors Singleton Supervalu Hollyhill\, Skechers Performance Ireland\, Munster Cardiac Services\, Cork Independent Newspapers\, Sheehan Butchers\, The Wild Goose Bar & Restaurant\, Soho Bar & Restaurant\, North Cork Creameries\, Charles McCarthy Plumbing and Newmarket Motors. \nThere are two races available on the day with 5k run and a 10k option. This event has been so successful for the past 13 years that it has inspired many other communities to stage similar events. Lá an 10k is a major social event for Inis Meáin\, that sees the return of many familiar faces year after year. Coláiste Naomh Eoin the Island’s secondary school is one of Ireland’s most successful small schools and this event is key to ensuring that the school continues to thrive\, thus ensuring the viability of this Atlantic gem. \nThe course is exceptionally scenic with a choice between a 5km or 10km road race or a more difficult 12km route which includes an adventure beach run along ‘Ceann Gainimh’. The Purple Run will take place on Saturday\, March 24th at 11am\, in the Phoenix Park\, Dublin. \nThe event is open to all age groups and abilities and participants can choose to run\, walk or push a buggy over the 5km or 1km distance\, allowing all the family to take part. The Good Run is back this Good Friday to get your Easter weekend off to a healthy start.  \nThe event is a charity fun run taking place on Good Friday\, 30 March 2018 in the stunning grounds of St. Anne’s Park\, Raheny in Dublin.
