DESCRIPTION:Fitzers 5k Fun Run/ Walk\n\nSaturday 26th February\, 2022\, 11:00\n\nDate: 26th February\, 2022\nTime: 11:00am Sharp\nLocation: Marshes Shopping Centre\, Dundalk\n\nFirst 500 registrations will receive a free t-shirt!\n\nAll revenue raised from this event will go directly to the Maria Goretti Children’s Respite and Rehab Care Adult Services in Dundalk.\n\n\n\nTHE annual Fitzers 5K Fun Run and Walk takes place once more on Saturday February 26th at 11am from the Marshes SC\, Dundalk\, Co Louth. This is the tenth renewal of the event that was inaugurated by Deputy Peter Fitzpatrick as a means of helping local organisations providing vital services.\n\n \nThe beneficiaries this year will be Maria Goretti Children’s Respite and RehabCare Adult Services.\n\n \nThe Maria Goretti Foundation is a registered charity and is committed to the support of children with disabilities. The centre at Lordship\, Co. Louth is currently a purpose built six bed-roomed facility that operates under the auspices of the HSE and is currently managed by Rehab Care.\n\n \nThe Maria Goretti Children’s Respite provides residential respite to 80 families who have children with Autism\, Learning Disability or a Physical Disability between the ages of 6-18. The RehabCare Resource Centres in Dundalk provide a day service to adults with Autism\, Learning Disability or a Physical Disability. \nRegister Now CLICK HERE
