DESCRIPTION:Mooreabbey Milers AC will hold the 2nd annual Michael Curley Cunningham 4 Mile race in honor of the legend that was Curley on Friday May 10th at 8pm in Galbally\, Co. Limerick. \nRegister on the night from 6.30pm in the community centre. Reg closes at 7.45pm sharp as the start is approx 1k away. Reg fee €10 per runner. \nAAI permit granted\, accurately measured. \n€200 for the first male & female. Cash bonus is last year’s male & female course records are broken. Cash prizes for 2nd & 3rd male & female plus cash prizes for 1st o/40\, o/50\, o/60\, o/70 & 1st male & female junior (16-18). \nSpot prizes to be won plus enjoy delicious refreshment in the community centre afterward.

DESCRIPTION:Clane AC 4 mile race\nFriday 24th May 2019\n7:30pm \n​Clane Athletic Club\, Scoil Mhuire\, Clane\, Co.Kildare \n  \nREGISTER ON:  www.popupraces.ie/race/clane-ac-4-mile-race/ \n  \n \nClane Athletic Club is delighted to announce the arrival of its new purpose built athletics track\, comprising of a 200 metre\, six-lane floodlit track. \n  \nClane community will sprint into a new athletics era with the opening of a new\, bespoke athletic track later in 2019….in the mean time\, we will be hosting a fundraising 4 mile event on Friday May 24th 2019 at 7:30pm. \n  \nThe development is described as a major coup for our community\, and a major boost for a new generation of athletes with a dedicated facility. \n  \nClane Athletic club will celebrate  the new 200-metre track with a unique 4 mile road race. This is both a celebration of our new facility and importantly an opportunity to fundraise to offset the capital costs of the project. \n  \nIt will be the first part of the €250\,000 investment in an athletics hub. The new facility will help undoubtedly attract more participants\, foster local talent and signal a turning point in athletics and a new era. \nThe race will also form part of the Kildare Road Race Series (incorporating the ‘Pat Maleady Memorial Run’) \nThe investment in Clane Athletics and the facilities will transform athletics for our current stars and the stars of the future. We wanted to make sure that the facilities were second to none and will encourage more people\, particularly young people\, to take up the sport. \n\n4 MILE Road race (incorporating the Pat Maleady Memorial Trophy- Junior Athletes)\nPost Race Refreshments & Hospitality\nCategory Prizes\nGuest Celebrities\n\nWhy no medal or T-Shirt?\nThere will be no medals or T-shirts for this event.\nThe nature of this fundraising event is to maximise monies contributing to the track.\nThere is no entry fee for this race\, however\, the club are asking for donations where possible towards the completion of the track. \nDonations can be made at the end of the registration process. \n\nREGISTER ON:  www.popupraces.ie/race/clane-ac-4-mile-race/
