DESCRIPTION:This unique event in aid of Voices for Down Syndrome Galway takes place on beautiful Inishbofin Island\, situated on Connemara’s stunning Wild Atlantic Way. The island is steeped in history\, and is renowned for its traditional music and unspoiled sandy beaches.\nInishbofin Half Marathon & 10k will take place on Saturday 12th May 2018. Whether you’re a serious runner looking for a new challenge\, or a rookie looking to run\, jog or walk on quiet roads\, the route offers a mix of flat and inclined terrain\, meandering through fine scenery\, with spectacular views of the beautiful Connemara mountains. Your registration also includes return ferry ticket and post-race BBQ with live music. \nEnjoy a weekend of island hospitality\, whilst raising vital funds for Down Syndrome Ireland\, Galway Branch.\nRegistration fee: €60 includes\nreturn ferry crossing\nentry to Half Marathon/10k on Saturday 12th May\, 10am\nsponsorship pack & tech race tee shirt\nsnack & water stops during event\nlight refreshments provided after race (showers available)\nBBQ with live music on Saturday evening \nAs this is a charity event\, we require all race participants to raise a minimum of €100 sponsorship for Down Syndrome Galway’s speech and language therapy\, education and social projects. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Jump Juice Summer Park Race Series. This is our 6th year of bringing you a selection of 5km and 10km races some of best parks of Ireland. \nJump Juice Summer Park Series Race 1: St Anne’s Park 5km & 10km – 12 May from 18.30 – St. Anne’s Park\, Raheny\, Dublin 5. \nJump Juice Summer Park Series Race 2: Malahide Castle 5km & 10km 1 July from 10.00 – Malahide Castle\, Malahide\, Co Dublin. \nWe are including a Tech Running T-Shirt for all standard entries and one T-Shirt only for the discounted 2 x race deal. \nYou will also receive an excellent race pack from Jump Juice that includes a bag\, water bottle and Jump Juice voucher (Free Smoothie / Juice). \nSo don’t delay and get registered today! \nFor all inquiries please email Simon or John on malahidecastlers@gmail.com \nDue to County Council restrictions\, we are limited to only 500 entries per race so don’t leave it too late. \nEvent details and schedule: \nThe route is entirely on path within St Anne’s Park. The 5km & 10km routes will be largely flat. Parking facilities are excellent in both parks. Each race will have aid/water station at 5km and water\, refreshments and some treats at the finish line \n**Please note that refunds incur an administration cost of €10. After 12 April 2018\, no refunds can be processed.
