DESCRIPTION:Registration Iniscealtra National School Mountshannon\nJuly 7th from 8.30am – 10.30am \nThe 10k Route is a timed run and starts at the Church. The first stretch takes the participant in the direction of the village turning right before the village with a lap of the harbour. In the village the route takes a right turn following the R352 to the Clonolia Junction just over 3.5km outside the village. The route takes a left at the Clonolia Junction followed by another left and then a right onto the Derrycon Route. At the 6km mark the route takes a left turn and it is a straight run back towards the village reaching the village at the 8.75km Mark. The final stage is down the hill around the harbour turning left onto the R352 finishing at the traffic lights at the 10k Mark. \nThe 5.4k Route is a timed run and starts at the church. The first stretch takes the participant in the direction of the village turning right before the village with a lap of the harbour. In the village the route takes a left turn following the R352 to the Woodpark Junction just over 3.5km outside the village. Turning right the route continues through Woodpark Forest Park. At the Woodpark Forest Park exit the route takes a right turn finishing back at the school traffic lights at the 5.4k Mark.

The race boasts an awesome route starting on the promenade in Newcastle (5K starts in Donard Forest) and includes a mix of road and track before heading up through the foothills of the Mournes. In the first half you will move off-road onto trails that climb gradually to the 5K mark where you will be rewarded by stunning views over Newcastle and beyond before descending to finish on Newcastle’s award winning promenade. The routes will immerse runners and walkers in the natural beauty of the Loop Head Peninsula on the Wild Atlantic Way. \nBoth the Half Marathon and 10K start and finish in Kilkee Town along the horseshoe bay with a kilometre of golden\, blue-flag beach. This scenic route\, part of the Wild Atlantic Way\, takes you on an out and back along the spectacular coastline of Loop Head. You will enjoy some of the most dramatic scenery on the Irish coast. You’ll pass dizzying cliffs and improbable seastacks as the drive steers you back to Kilkee. This is just a truly awesome route.

DESCRIPTION:We are organising a 5k/10k Fun Run in Punchestown Racecourse on Sat. July 21st at 11am. All proceeds go to the Michael Mullan Cancer Fund. \nMichael (Mick) is 26 years old from Eadestown Co. Kildare and is battling cancer for the third time. Michael is currently undergoing treatment in Boston as there is no treatment options available for him in Ireland. We have organised this run to raise much needed funds to help cover his medical expenses. DESCRIPTION:Portumna Forest Park 5k/10k Trail Races \nPortumna GAA Club are hosting 5km and 10km trail races around the beautiful Portumna Forest Park at 12 noon on Sunday 22nd July.  The races will be on separate circuits around the forest.  The courses are flat and will be split between narrow forest trails and forest roads.  Km markers and refreshments will be in place around the courses. \nThese are not your normal 5k and 10k races – these races will be mainly challenging but fast technical running in single-track trails between the trees\, broken up by stretches of forest road ideal for passing. \nBoth races start at 12pm sharp from Portumna GAA Club. \nRegistration in the GAA club from 11am if you are up for the challenge! Online registrations are closed but still plenty of places left. \nAdult entry €10. Kids (under 18) €5 entry.
