DESCRIPTION:  \nWicklow Hospice Half Marathon and 10k\n\nWicklow Hospice 10k and Half Marathon.\nSaturday 26th of February 2022.\nHalf Marathon start time 8:45am\n10K start time 9am.\nRoad race.\nStart and finish at the Beehive Bar & Restaurant exit 18 off N11.\nMedal for all finishers\nChip timed.\n\nDescription of the event: \nWicklow Hospice 10k and Half Marathon is back! A lovely route awaits you starting and finishing at the Beehive Bar & Restaurant exit 18 off the N11. This is a looped course for both distances along some quiet country roads and finishing on the old N11. \nWicklow Hospice is the first facility to provide specialist palliative care services for patients and their families in County Wicklow. It is a state-of-the-art purpose-built 15 bed hospice and it’s opening marks the culmination of over ten years of incredible fundraising\, which we actively continue to this day to support the patients under our care and their loved ones. This is the tenth renewal of the event that was inaugurated by Deputy Peter Fitzpatrick as a means of helping local organisations providing vital services.\n\n \nThe beneficiaries this year will be Maria Goretti Children’s Respite and RehabCare Adult Services.\n\n \nThe Maria Goretti Foundation is a registered charity and is committed to the support of children with disabilities. The centre at Lordship\, Co. Louth is currently a purpose built six bed-roomed facility that operates under the auspices of the HSE and is currently managed by Rehab Care.\n\n \nThe Maria Goretti Children’s Respite provides residential respite to 80 families who have children with Autism\, Learning Disability or a Physical Disability between the ages of 6-18. DESCRIPTION:The re scheduled event Ardagh 10 Mile Challenge will be Saturday the 26th of Feb 2022 at 1pm\n It takes place on a scenic course during the peak of Winter.
