Follow your own route!\nIt can be done at any time during the week of the 7th to the 13th September.\nMore participants can be facilitated.\nJuniors and Youths are welcome!\nOur participants will be virtually connected! Keep an eye on Facebook for updates!\n\n  \n  \n  \n  \nWhat does the virtual challenge involve? \n\nRemember this is a company challenge and all participants must represent their company\nYou can enter as an individual or team.\nTeam entrant can be up to 3 people.\nJuniors: 5 to 14 years.\nYouths: 15 to 18 years.\nThe challenge must be completed by September 13th.\nThe participants must send their times once the challenge is completed.\nTeams can send an individual time also for each section\nJuniors and Youths must have a family member participating in the event.\n\nWhat are the entry fees? \n\nAdults: 20 €\nYouths: 10 €\nJuniors: 5 €\n\nWhat do I get if I complete the challenge? DESCRIPTION:Quest Lough Derg is the latest addition to the Quest Adventure Series. Race around some of Ireland’s most iconic waterways\, kayak on majestic Lough Derg and run along the banks of the mighty Shannon. Cycle through country roads\, quaint villages and sprawling forests. \nFor the second time Quest will take place on the banks of Lough Derg on Saturday 12th September 2020. This exciting event will see participants start and finish in Ballina and run\, cycle and kayak their way around Lough Derg taking in locations like Tonn Toinne\, Garrykennedy\, Ballycuggaran and Moylussa. \nThere will be three routes to choose from for participants\, the 22km ‘Challenge’ route\, the 57km ‘Sport’ route and the 69km ‘Expert’ route. After much deliberation and close consultation with local authorities and Gardaí\, we feel this was the best decision for all concerned. Our primary concern is you\, our valued participant and we feel deeply saddened at having to reach this decision. \nWith the ever-changing circumstances and recent government decision deciding not to move to phase 4\, we feel that it would not be fair to you the participant to reduce your overall race day experience and place your safety at risk.\n\nHowever\, we do have some good news. We have decided to go virtual with the event. We hope you can enjoy this virtual experience with your fellow participants and take part in the fun.
