DESCRIPTION:Fat Turkey Run – 10 Year Anniversary\n\n2019 Online Entry is now OPEN.\n\nEvent Sponsor:  This year the event is sponsored by MKN Property Group who are an award winning property development\, investment and construction company with over 20 years experience in the acquisition\, design\, construction and management of numerous residential and commercial projects. \nWho:  Runners\, Joggers\, Slow\, Fast\, Small and Large\, all are welcome \nWhen: Saturday 28 December 2019 @ 11.00. \nHow: Enter Online Now \nPrice: €24 (+reg fee) Includes a technical ‘turkey’ running tee-shirt \nDetails: 2019 will be the 10th Fat Turkey RUN. \nThis event sells out each year so if you want to guarantee a goodie bag and T-shirt\, please sign up online. \nThe Run will start outside St Fintans Church @11.00.  Registration will be in Suttonians RFC from 09.30. \nThe Fat Turkey 10km event is to support Suttonians Rugby Football Club (established in 1924) and the IRFU Charitable Trust (Irish Rugby Football Union Charitable Trust was formed in 1978 to assist severely injured rugby players in their everyday lives\, and help to restore their confidence and independence). \nThe scenic route is a challenging 10km course\, commencing at St Fintans Church\, Sutton\, going all the way up Carrickbrack Road\, right at the Summit Shop\, right again onto Baily Green Road and up to the Summit Car Park (turnaround and aid/water station) and then back down on the same route. \nParticipant Sign In\, race number\, timing chip & T-shirt can be collected  from 09.30 in Suttonians RFC opposite Sutton Dart Station where parking\, changing and shower facilities are available. \nSign In will close at 10.30 followed by a 5-10 mins safety / event briefing.  Participants will then take a short walk/jog to St Fintans Church car park which is the start location. The finish line will be on the grass verge opposite St Fintans Church. The race will begin at 11.00 sharp. \nOn completion of the race participants will jog/walk through Sutton cross to Suttonians R.F.C (approx 500 yards) where changing facilities and tea/coffee\, biscuits and full bar will be available. SUMMARY:Ardagh 10 Mile Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The annual Ardagh 10 Mile Challenge takes place on a scenic\, point-to-point course during the peak of Winter.  The first two miles of the course brings you on the scenic route around the village before you head up over the mountain\, the last half mile has you once again running through the historic and award winning village of Ardagh to finish at the village green. \n  \nEvent Details and Schedule \nOur annual 10 Mile Challenge Run takes place on Saturday 28th of December in Ardagh. \n  \nChip Timing \nAll entrants in both the 10 Mile Challenge and the 5K Fun Run will be chip timed.  Results will be available online on our Facebook Page shortly after completion of the race. \n  \nMedal \nEvery entrant on completion of the 10 Mile Challenge and 5km chipped race will receive a specially commissioned medal. \n  \nPrizes \nFor the 10 mile Challenge \nPrize money this year for the first three ladies AND the first three gentlemen over the finish line. \n1st  €100\, 2nd €75 and 3rd €50 \n  \nTrophies for the first Man and Woman in the 10 mile \nO/40\,  0/50 and  O60 \n  \n10 mile Course Record Bonus €100 \n1st Man to break 55 minutes \n1st Woman to break 60 minutes \n  \nFor the 5k Run \nTrophies for the first three ladies and gentlemen over the finish line. \nTrophies for the first three boys and girls under 16 on the day of the race over the finish line. \n  \nThis event raises funds for Ardagh Moydow Glen Community Games.  All money raised goes towards providing community games activities for Children in our Parish. \n10 Mile Registration online up to and including 23rd December will be €20*. Entry fee on the day will be €25. \n5k Registraition available online also – €15* for chipped timed registration with a finisher medal and €5* for non chip timed entry and no medal. \n*excludes online booking fee \nThank you for your support.

DESCRIPTION:Test your speed over the classic mile distance or run with the family. Can you break the elusive 4 minute mile\, it can be done on this fast\, flat race in the village of Galbally\, Co. Limerick\, €100 cash bonus if you do! Cash prize for the top 3 men & women\, cash bonus if the course records are broken: 4.19 men’s record & 5.18 female record. We have added a team challenge this year\, 3 members per team (mixed) to be declared at registration. The fastest combined time will be crowned the first ever Mile Challenge Champions & will be presented with a perpetual shield. Cash prize for 1st junior boy & girl\, category prizes\, spot prizes galore! We’ll have a medal for the kids that cross the line & a prize for the first parent & buggy baby over the line. Delicious goodies & refreshments in the community centre afterwards. €8 per runner\, €5 per walker\, €10 per family walking. Registration in the community centre from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.
