SUMMARY:Connemara 100
DESCRIPTION:The Connemara 100 on the West Coast of Ireland is run over a measured and certified course. The 2012 event was AAI permitted and awarded an IAU Bronze Label. This year we celebrate the 11th Anniversary of our 100 mile race.\nThe course is simply fabulous\, taking participants from Clifden through Letterfrack\, Lettergesh\, the Inagh Valley\, Maam Cross\, Leenane\, Inagh Valley again\, then on to Roundstone\, Ballyconneely and back to Clifden to complete 100 miles. \nThere is a 30 hour limit and every participant must have their own crew with them at all times to look after water\, food etc. \nThere will be medical support but because the course stretches over such a long distance there may be up to 25 miles between aid stations. So experienced crew support is essential and mandatory. \nEntry is available HERE

DESCRIPTION:Rock ‘n’ Roll Dublin is the most fun you’ll ever have running. Experience live music along the course and run past some of Dublin’s most famous landmarks like Christ Church Cathedral and the famous Guinness Brewery. Afterwards enjoy our headliner at the finish festival concert. \nOur brand new city centre start line for the Half Marathon will be at Fitzwilliam Square and you will finish back in Phoenix Park. \nOur new 10K course will be fully held in Phoenix Park this year and will finish with the Half Marathoners. \nOn Saturday\, our 5K will also be held fully in the park once again\, so don’t forget to wave to the deer as you pass! \nWe will once again have our Family Fun Run on the Sunday for all the kids who want to earn that bling as well! DESCRIPTION:Westport Leisure Park is proud to launch the inaugural Westport Half Marathon on Saturday 10th August 2019. \nTaking place in the “the best place to live in Ireland” it promises to be another great event and set against the dramatic backdrop of Croagh Patrick and the spectacular Wild Atlantic Way scenery. \nWhile the landscape may be mountainous\, the course is flat with only slight incline. SUMMARY:Galway Clinic Streets of Galway 8k
DESCRIPTION:2019 sees the 34th edition of the famous Streets of Galway 8km road race. Since its inception in 1986 the event has grown into one of the most prestigious road races in the country\, yet remains true to its original motto of Sport for All\, as many locals and visitors take on the event year in year out. The event will bring 3\,000 participants onto the streets of our city and suburbs into what is a fantastic event and evening in the city. \nThis event is the jewel in the crown of road races in the West and tours through the famous City of the Tribes.The race route starts at Fr Griffin Road in the city and takes in many of the sights of Galway city. including the Spanish Arch\, Eyre Square\, the landmark Galway Cathedral and NUI Galway\, and routes out towards Salthill\, past Pearse Stadium and then back in the ‘Prom’ along Galway Bay for a fast section into the finish at the historic Claddagh. \nEvent details and schedule\nThe 2019 Galway Clinic Streets of Galway 8km \, organised by local club Galway City Harriers\, which takes place this year on Saturday 10th August at 7pm. \nAn early-bird rate of €20 will be available until midnight on July 1st\, after which a standard entry-fee of €25 will apply. \nThis year we are once again delighted to have the Galway Clinic as the Streets of Galway 8k race sponsor.  The Galway Clinic\, is a Galway institution and is a major health provider and employer for the city and county\, The Clinic aims to improve the health and quality of life of the individuals and communities its serves\, and to promote health and wellbeing across society . \nEnter Now – Click Here
