SUMMARY:Strawberry 5 Mile and 10 Mile Road Race
DESCRIPTION:This is the second year of the event which comprises a new 10 mile and a 5 mile road race. The race takes place at the height of the Strawberry Season. \nThe race is hosted this year exclusively by Slaney Olympic AC as a club fundraiser. \nEntry fees have been kept to a minimum while still retaining the usual high standards of the race. The 10 Mile runners will receive a custom made medal and a custom buff whilst the 5 mile runners will just receive the medal. \nUp to 22nd June entry fees are: 10 mile race €20; 5 mile Race €15\, thereafter on race day entries are 10 mile €25 and 5 Mile €20. \nThe event will attract everyone from the country’s top athletes to the club and fun runners. There are pacers for the 10 miles at 60 mins\, 70 mins\, 80 mins and 90 mins to help participants achieve their goals.\nThere will be prizes (more details later) in the open races and and all veteran categories. All runners receive a special Finisher’s Medal and tea/coffee and sandwiches at the Riverside Park Hotel. \nThe races start and finish on the banks of the River Slaney in the historic town of Enniscorthy. The 10 Mile route runs along the river\, through the town and past the castle before heading out on tree lined roads through the pastoral County Wexford countryside in all its summer glory. SUMMARY:Oak Tree Trail 5K & 10K Run Walk 2019
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Oak Tree Trail. This run/walk is set in scenic south Wicklow. The event will start at the Fairgreen \,Shillelagh  and from there the course will take us along country trails through the private Coolllattin estate (open for this event) and on through towards Tomnanfinogue woods which are one of the oldest  remaining oak woods in Europe. \nThe route takes in some stunning and rarely seen scenery and the course is lined with a fantastic array of Trees and plants including the magnificent oak Trees. \nOn return to the Fairgreen we will serve some well-earned light refreshments and prize giving. \nAll participants will receive a medal. \n“An a mighty Oak is just an acorn that stood its ground”… Come see the mighty oaks of Coollattin. \nThis event will be chip timed by JustRuns Events \n

DESCRIPTION:A 10km road race will take place on Sunday 23rd June at 1 p.m. in Aughrim\, Co. Galway in aid of St. Catherine’s National School. The event is GPS measured and is a fast course with a downhill finish that will be great for those working towards a PB. Registration is at 12 p.m. in St. Catherine’s Hall in Aughrim. \nA 5km Family Colour Fun Run/Walk will also take place for families and friends to enjoy.
