SUMMARY:Run Rampage Weekender 2019
DESCRIPTION:Head off to the Jungle where you can run RAMPAGE across one of Ireland’s coolest obstacle adventure races. \n27th – 28th April 2019 will see us host our third “Rampage Weekender” event. Gut busting and unique obstacles\, lashings of mud\, a fantastic and picturesque location\, followed by an awesome after party and camping. \nThis year’s promises to be bigger and better. We will host the Adult Rampage Run on Saturday 27th April 2019. Many of last years gut busting obstacles will see a return this year\, including the infamous Giant Water Slide\, the challenging Sleive Gallion\, the refreshing Placid Ponds\, the Insane-A-Frame and many other favourites. We will also add a few new surprises to this year’s obstacle line-up\, with more than 60 obstacles planned for 2019!! \nWith lots of adventure style mud runs all across Ireland we are conscious that we need to offer something a little different to stand out from the crowd. We have therefore made our run more than a run and turned it into a weekend getaway that begins with an exhilarating and challenging 5k or 10k adventure run loaded with quality obstacles\, followed by some hot food\, live music and a themed after party where you can rest your tired muscles and unwind with your fellow competitors and friends while enjoying the entertainment well into the night and best of all…. camping! Everybody loves camping! (Over 18’s only for camping)

SUMMARY:10k RAMPAGE Elite Race
DESCRIPTION:27th – 28th April 2019 will see us host our third “Rampage Weekender” event. Gut busting and unique obstacles\, lashings of mud\, a fantastic and picturesque location\, followed by an awesome after party and camping. \nElite Race Option in 2019 \nFor the Adults Run in 2019\, we have introduced an Elite Run. This will be the first run of the day\, 10am\, for the ultra competitive\, who want to test themselves against the very best. We have 100 spaces available for this Elite Run. Runners will be timed and will have to complete each obstacle. \nThe Elite Race option is £60\, with the extra money being totaled up and handed back out in the form of cash prizes for 1st\, 2nd and 3rd place. The total cash prizes will depend on how many enter the Elite Race. If 100 apply\, this leaves £1000 in the cash pot\, meaning prizes would be as follows: \n1st Place – £500 \n2nd Place – £300 \n3rd Place – £200 \nNow\, there’s an incentive to push yourself through the pain!

DESCRIPTION:Westport Inter-Company Duathlon (WICD) 2019 \nOrganiser: Allergan & Portwest \nEmail: deirdrec@portwest.com / Louise.O’Kinsella@allergan.com \nRace Director: Andy Moran \nDate: April 27 at 9:00am \nPrice: Individual €25 / Team €35 \nThe inaugural Westport Inter-Company Duathlon will take place on Saturday\, 27th April 2019. The Duathlon\, centred around the stunning grounds of Westport House Estate\, will consist of a 5k run\, 18k cycle and a final 1.7k run which will start & finish at Gracy’s Bar and Bistro at “the farmyard” at Westport House. \nStage 1 is a 5k run which brings participants around the grounds of Westport House Estate\, taking in a forest trail and stunning views of Westport House and gardens.  On exiting the forest trail\, participants will run toward the back of Hotel Westport before entering the tree-lined walled laneway in the direction of Gracy’s. The final stretch takes runners out to Golf Course road\, turning left in the direction of Carrowholly for 600m before turning back into Westport House Estate via Orchard lane\, and finishing at T1. \nTransition will be located in the carpark at the farmyard\, near Gracy’s Bar and Bistro. \nStage 2 – Cycle: Participants will collect their bikes at transition for the 18K cycle which takes cyclists out to Croagh Patrick and back via the coast road. \nStage 3 will be a 1.7k fun run which takes runners from transition out to Golf Course Road for 600m before turning left back into Westport House Estate. Old clothes are advisable as you prepare to be splashed with colour as you head down the final stretch toward the finish line. Relay team runners should aim to pick up the rest of your team en route to run the final 100meters together and cross the line as a team. The finish line will be located near Gracy’s Bar and Bistro. \nRelay Options: \nNot ready to complete the entire duathlon? No problem. Just sign up as part of a 2 or 3-person relay team. Maximum team size is 3 (2 runners\, 1 cyclist). The timing chip (worn on the ankle) must be handed over to your relay partner to complete the next stage of the event. \nChildren’s event: \nA 1.7k colour run will be open to Age 7+. This will take place at 9:05\, immediately after the adult race start. (This is the same route as the adult’s final 1.7k run). While this course will be safe and well marshalled with just 600 meters on road\, parents / guardians are asked to run with younger participants to ensure their safety along the course. \nStill feeling energetic? Why not stay around after the event and enjoy all that Westport House and Pirate Adventure Park has to offer. 10% discount for all event participants on the day.  Pirate Adventure Park opens at 11:30am. \nShowers are available onsite at the Caravan and Camping site and at Gracy’s Bar and Bistro. \nPost-race refreshments will be served at Gracy’s Bar and Bistro from After event \nPrize giving will take place at 10:45.

DESCRIPTION:The biggest duathlon series in Ireland is back for summer 2019!\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe 2019 Phoenix Park Duathlon Series is returning to Dublin’s Phoenix Park over 3 dates in April\, June and July.The duathlon consists of a run\, bike and run again. Roads will be closed for our races\, making this is a great event for beginners and people who want to push towards the podium. \n\nWe’re offering a super mix of prizes and the race will be timed electronically with results & photos available online. This is a 100% club-run event and is fully sanctioned by Triathlon Ireland. Note: All participants must either be a Triathlon Ireland member or purchase an ODM in advance from Triathlon Ireland. DESCRIPTION:This is a coastal race featuring varied topography. Combining running\, cycling\, hill running (for the longer course) and a beach obstacle course\, this is a challenging race with a light-hearted spirit. And the entire course boasts strikingly beautiful scenery at every turn. \nBreakdown of Full Race distances: \n\nRun – 5 km\nCycle – 13.6 km\nRun / Climb – 5 km\nDash to finish – 0.5 km (incl. beach obstacle course)\nTotal – 24.10 km\n\nBreakdown of Spirit Race distances: \n\nRun – 5 km\nCycle – 9.5 km\nDash to finish – 0.5 km (incl. beach obstacle course)\nTotal – 15 km\n\nLimited to 120 participants. Pre-registered entry fee includes return ferry fare. (No promises but the ferry journey may include a dolphin escort.) \nThere will be a cracking after-party at Sailor’s Bar for those who want to make a night of it and stay over on the island – an experience worth having\, in itself!
