DESCRIPTION:Born to Run Tralee Marathon Club are proud and excited to bring you the fourth annual Born to Run 40 Mile Ultra Marathon and second 2 person relay while introducing the first running of our 4 person relay. Taking place on Saturday July 28th in the town of Tralee\, this 40 Mile Ultra-marathon consists of ten 4 mile loops.  The course is made up of a relaxing (and flat) 1 mile river walkway (concrete) and country roads (not quiet flat in places). Each loop has two hills of approximately 0.5 miles each and have a climb of about 90 feet each. These hills are immediately followed by an equal downhill section which will be a welcome relief after the climb.

DESCRIPTION:The Ros Run Sliabh Bawn\nDistances 10km route\, half marathon\, full marathon & ultra marathon (50km)\nBrand new event in county Roscommom coming in 2018. It will be a large looped route with breathtaking view of the surrounding counties amongst the forest on gravel finished roads.This route starts and finishes up on Sliabh Bawn mountain which is located on the Lanesboro to Strokestown road\, 10 mins from Roscommon town.\n\nSliabh Bawn is now the home of a wind farm providing sustainable energy provided by board na Mona and Coillte.\nSlieve Bawn is a small but highly significant mountain set among the lakes and flatlands of eastern Co. DESCRIPTION:The BALLA 10k incorporating Mayo Athletics County Board 10k road Championships will take place on Saturday July 28 at 7pm. \nThe event is being hosted by Mayo AC in conjunction with Mayo Athletics County Board. \nThe classic one lap course as used in Balla 10k over the last 25 years has been remeasured and is AAI/County Board permitted. \nThe Balla 10k is open to all: run\, jog\, or walk. All welcome. \n10k county championships entrants must be over 18 and 2018 registered members of an athletics club in Co Mayo. Club vests must be worn. \nThe County Board will award Individual – Junior\, Senior\, age category\, and team medals for men and women. \nEntry on the day: €15.
