DESCRIPTION:The Blackstairs Adventure Race has 4 events. The “7 Steps” covers a distance of 65km comprising of Running\, Kayaking and Cycling. \nAs athletes safety and enjoyment is top of our priority\, so please be aware the 7 Steps is tough and challenging and best suited to someone who is an active adventure racer. \nThe “5 Steps” is a shorter 45km course of Running\, Kayaking and Cycling. The “3 Steps” is a Duathlon event of 25km run and cycle course. DESCRIPTION:Sunday 6th May brings the 5th Annual Loughglynn Woodlands 5k and 10k Walk/Jog/Run! \nStart Time is 2pm sharp. (Please Note earlier start time)\nEntry Fee: Adult €10 U16 €5 Family €25\nThis year the race will be fully chip timed. \nBoth the 5k and 10k follow beautiful scenic routes around by the lake and back to the village. The 5k is mostly flat\, and the 10k has a couple of nice hills for those who like a challenge! \nPrize giving and refreshments immediately after in Loughglynn Community Centre. The course is measured and marked\, and Chip timed. \nThis year all funds are in aid of Loughglynn Community Centre. \nLast year we had a record attendance\, and we hope 2018 is going to be even bigger and better!
