DESCRIPTION:The 8th successive running of the Colemanstown 10k is scheduled for Holy Saturday 31st March 2018 at 12 noon. Similar to previous years this AAI recognised road race is chip timed by Red Tag Timing and is open to all male & female runners\, joggers and walkers while the route is similar to previous years. \nThe early bird rate of €15 is valid until February 23rd with a fee of €20 thereafter. All participants will receive a gift token with prizes for first 3 male & female home as well as Over 40/50/60/70 category prizes. \nSo get registering now via HERE to avail of the reduced rate. DESCRIPTION:Doubt if you have done this before? This is the Cornamona inaugural 8K run. Your run starts and finishes in the village. Winding it’s way out the Cloughbrack road\, turning into the amazing geological town-land of Crimlin past the beautiful waterfall only known to locals. Past the holy well at Dooghty Well\, over the Cornamona river and looping back down overlooking one of Europe’s most beautiful lakes with it’s 800+ islands\, Lough Corrib\, before returning to the village of Cornamona and a well deserved cup of tea at O’Malleys Pub.
