Ballyfin AC along with the support of the Deadman’s Inn are pleased to launch the 2nd running of The Deadmans Dash, a great date in the Laois Athletics calendar for runners of all abilities plus various kidsDash races, an event for all the family.
The Deadman’s Dash 7k will take place on Sunday 13th April 2014 at 12 Noon, starting and finishing outside the Deadmans Inn with Prizes for the First 5 Senior Men and Women of €100, €80, €60, €40 and €20. There will also be three kidsDash races prior to the main race catering for ages 4 to 12, each child will receive a medal for taking part.
Registration is €15 and can be done on the day from 10.00am in the Deadmans Inn or register online. Registration for students will be €5, only on the day. The is also a €2 entry fee for the kidsDASH, only on the day.
The Deadmans Inn is situated midway between Mountrath and Mountmellick on the R423 in Co Laois. If coming from Portlaoise, take the Ballyfin Road off the N80. This will take you straight outside the Deadmans Inn.
Refreshments and prize-giving will take place afterwards at the Deadman’s Inn including cool sports-related spot prizes for all taking part in the race.
