After major delays due to the Hurricane season David Rooney finally got his season underway when he finished fourth in the LSU cross country at the weekend.

Other US news sees Gavin Kennedy from Waterford taking over as Assistant Coach at Iona College, maintaining the Irish link to the College following the surprise move of Mick Byrne to Wisconsin after being Head Coach at Iona for a lifetime (almost).
