Sinead Jennings

World class Rower and Cyclist, with a fantastic ability as a triathlete, Sinead is the most impressive multisport athlete you will ever meet !

Sinead Jennings, 4th year medicine. Sinead is returning from a year off books during which she was pursuing her rowing. Sinead started rowing in Edinburgh where she was working as a hospital pharmacist. She won a bronze medal at the world champions in 2000 and went on to become World Championship in the lightweight single in 2001. Unfortunately there is no lightweight single in the Olympics so Sinead has teamed up with Niamh NiCheilleachair (above right) in the Lightweight double scull. They won a bronze medal at the Poznan World Cup last year and finished 7th at the world Championships. They aim to qualify for the Beijing Olympics next year.

She also particpate in Hamilton 2003 Cycling Road World Championships and won several national Triathlon. A complete athlete with the head as a plus....
