McKinney out sprints the Roberts Brothers and McGloin smashes the record

In a fantastic night of racing, local top dog Pauric McKinney(Letterkenny AC) made it a hat-trick of Buncrana 5k victories when he out kicked NI 5k champion Greg Roberts(City of Derry)by 1 second to win Thursday night's race in 15.16

Big brother Collie Roberts(City of Derry) finished 4 secs adrift. Finn Valley's Theresa McGloin was also in great form taking a massive 33 seconds off the record of clubmate Clodagh McCool winning the womens race in a flying 17.13. Breege Connolly of North Belfast was 2nd in 17.44 just 6 secs ahead of Inis Eoghain AC's Helena Crossan. A great crowd of 171 runners turned out despite the stiff competition from a game in Rome.
