" Hi all

I just wanted to thank you all for making my first ultra marathan such a memorable one.

There is something amazing about the route what a journey – despite the looped course there was something different to see at each mile. Despite the heat and humidity the smell of the sea on your side and the fresh breeze was fab. I am normally a lover of my headphones when running solo but didn’t want them for any of those 36 miles. Met some wonderful supportive people along the way and there was such a feeling of a second home if that makes any sense.

It was so nice to chat to you all after the races everyone so friendly nearly feels like been part if a wider family. I would have to imagine it was a hard day for Keith but he was so nice and full of praise.

What stood out for me on my first ultra journey?

Loved the loops route – nice to know what’s ahead and nice to have people around all the time.

Easy going build up and finish and as to be expected small numbers so parking relaxing after and start line all very nice.

Marshals all around course were superb so inspiring and the little boy with the blind curls in the cork jersey was legend.

Iced water cakes coke you name it – every angle thought of.

Super bonus of the sea On your doorstep to dip the legs into.

For me such a great buzz to have done my first ultra and I wouldn’t want to have done it anywhere else – ye all made it one of the best exper?ience of my life.?

Thank you all so much and I look forward to running with you all soon again." Anne Jennings Dublin?
