SEB fitness created in 1999 is the oldest full time professional coaching business in Swimming and Triathlon. Based in Galway City, we are looking for a Sport Manager aiming to become a professional coach, athlete or sport business manager. The team is led by Head Coach Sebastien Locteau who works with about 15 assistant coaches on a weekly basic. He is the Head Coach of Pulse Triathlon Club, Comans Swimming club and Westport Swimming club, with youth international, international age groupers, national and international elite athletes but also with general participants.
Job Description:
The position is for 10 hours a week, which will evolve toward a full time position in the next 24 month.
– Coaching schedules, appointments
– Coaching Teaching Triathlon and competitive swimming
– Business accounts and finance
– Website management of www.sebfitness.com (queries, orders, articles, news)
– Event management (participants queries, logistic of the events)
– Proof reading of articles, coaching reports and plans

After a 6 months evaluation period you will be able to apply to :
– Triathlon Coaching Level 1 and Level 2 paid by SEB Fitness
– Swimming coaching Level 1 and Level 2 paid By SEB fitness
Requirement
– Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office 2007
– Have experience of triathlon and competitive swimming
– Be able to work on own initiative and make decisions for the business
– Be a Triathlon Ireland and SI affiliated member
Optional but a plus:
– Sports Degree or similar (FETAC, Coaching Ireland qualifications etc..)
– Dreamweaver, Photoshop, TAS user
– Business or accounting experience
