Hundreds of Galway runners have already signed up to the first Vhi A Lust For Life Galway Racecourse 5k set to take place on Saturday September 3rd. The event in conjunction with the Irish Independent gives runners the opportunity to visit Galway Racecourse in unique manner.
The event is in aid of A Lust For Life. A Lust For Life was created with the simplistic but very powerful message ‘to put your mental health on the map’. 3 years later, it is growing from strength to strength thanks to the A Lust For Life supporters.
Recently through his work with A Lust For Life, Niall ‘Bressie’ Breslin was recently appointed co-chair of a youth steering committee. As a social entrepreneurship, A Lust For Life achieve all this through funding from their events. Funds from the event go towards A Lust For Life and to the local athletics clubs in the area.
