DAMBUSTERS Press Release 2014 DAMBUSTERS is the next race on BORN2RUN’s calendar of races & will take place in The Silent Valley on Saturday August 30th 2014. The Silent Valley is a truly awesome setting for a race, surrounded by the majestic Mournes on all sides. BORN2RUN have established a reputation for organising GREAT RACES IN GREAT PLACES as was seen recently in Newcastle where they held the SEA 2 SKY 10K. Anyone who has done a BORN2RUN race raves about the organisation and particularly the race locations as BORN2RUN’s motto is GREAT RACES IN GREAT PLACES.
DAMBUSTERS offers runners the choice of 2 distances, with both a HALF MARATHON and a 10 kilometre race to choose from. There is also a walker’s 10K race.
Early Bird Offer
If you enter the race before 11pm July 30th you can avail of the Early Bird offer which means that The half marathon will be charged at £23 and the 10K race at £16. The entry fee includes chipped timing, a top quality medal for all finishers, a snack pack and post race refreshments and entertainment. Jane Rowe of BORN2RUN says “It’s extremely encouraging to get feedback from people who’ve ran our races and it’s fantastic to see them coming back for each new event we organise”.
