Thames Meander

I just received this by email :

"We regret to announce that the Thames Meander will not be taking place again. The fame and success of our event has made it increasingly time-consuming to organise and me and my family no longer have the time or resources to manage its growth.

The 10 years of the Thames Meander has been a great period for us; we are all very proud of growing and developing the event from 10 people to its current position as the largest double marathon in Europe.
Along the way a number of other events have started up and copied our course, format and timings, but remember - the Thames Meander is still the first and the original.
