Nice tough race well marshalled. Entry fee was a bit steep given that there was'nt even a bottle of water provided at the finish.

What do you mean, there was water at the finish and food, whith tea, coffee, sandwiches etc.....
You also got a bike bottle, energy bar, free professional pictures you can download from the slide show, insurance included, timing chip with all the splits .....
I think for €50 euro compared to any other race we did very well, especially with two transitions etc....
But maybe I am wrong.

Great job with this event.I think it will only get bigger and better. It was a tough course but i thought the field of 130 did really good times. Ok initially i thought it was abit pricey but seeing the organisation of the event and the excellent chipping system around the course etc.... Also there was plenty of water afterwards. For alot of other duathlons you have to pay an extra 10 euros for the 1 day triathlon licence on the day of the event and there is usually no chipping in some cases. The pictures look great too. Again well done!

Well done on the organisation, guys. You obviously learned from the mistakes of Gaelforce in 2009 with the timing. It was excellent to get the detailed splits texted to us, also a good selection of photos, and the water bottle in the bag was a nice touch.
A very good event, good course, and I'd say most will definitely do again next year to go after their times, if you run it?
One item of constructive criticism: I thought there was a bit of a H&S issue at the finish, where a crowd were gathering, very close to live traffic, someone could've stepped off the footpath and got whacked. Maybe consider channeling the crowd somewhere safer?
Overall, though, thoroughly enjoyable!

That was a great race, I enjoyed every second of it. Thanks for doing it in C'bar.

Well done guys, it was a great event and a more fun atmosphere than some other duathlons I've done!
Getting a text after with split times was a nice surprise, the water bottle and energy bar were much appreciated and the nice weather definitely helped too. Enjoyed every minute (well from the top of the mast hill onwards!) and will certainly come back next year for a better time if ye run it again.

Congrats to Seb, Padraig and all those involved in the Days Duathlon Race.
The event was really well organised, fantastically scenic and most definitely challenging! A unique event which I'm sure man will be back to compete in next year.
