The Lakes 10k, Blessington.
Hi,
The second running of The Lakes 10k will take place on the 25th of September, 2010. This event is hosted by Lakeshore Striders running club and will again benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Association of Ireland (over €21,000 raised last year).
To provide an enjoyable and quality event we are limiting numbers to 600 entrants. The event is AAI certified with accurate course measurement (Jones Counter) Roads will be closed to traffic on this fast scenic route around Blessington Lake.
There will be goodie bags, race momento and more for all finishers. As well as overall winners, there will be age categories and team entry options. Chip timing will be in operation.
Two entry options available: with or without technical t-shirt! Please check out www.thelakes10k.ie for all the information for the race. Hope to greet you on the day. Many thanks.
Hi Deisecelt,
I'm in the same boat but going to give it a go anyway, I hear there's a really broad ability level and I'll probably walk most of it but sure it's something to aim for anyway.
Think I might recognise your Deise name from another website forum?? you might recognise mine too???
Hi,
places are steadily filling for The Lakes 10k!
Just to let runners know that the option of entering with the technical t-shirt will be closing shortly, as we will be processing the order. Anyone who wishes to select this option should do it soon. (It's a nice technical t-shirt which has been designed for this race and is different from last years. Price difference for with or without the t-shirt is €10 so it's good value!)
Check out the website for all information and online registration. Thanks.
