Does anyone know anything about the Irish Runner magazine? Specifically when it comes out ? Its incredibly bad at keeping to a release date. Since I am in town I go inot Easons every day to see if it is there...and so far this year there has been nothing. I really like to support the magazine and I do alwasy buy it when I see it, but I'm not one for patience and it can be frustrating when scheduled dates go by and nothing.

the best thing to do is pay for a annual subscription and they will post each issue out to you. sit down and relax reading it..

Hi,

Why don't you order it online for €25 and it will be delivered to you?

I don't mind going into Easons, as I said, I'm in town anyway and I pass it on the way to and from work. The main thing is that there has been nothing since the Dublin marathon, don;t even know if it is still in existance. I think its a great publication and always buy it when it comes out, my only issue is there is no knowing when that might be, Its supposed to be a two monthly publication, so for example I would have expected that there should be a Jan/Feb 2010 issue but next week is March and nothing.
From that point of view, getting it posted wouldnt make any difference.

Ya but I was on their posting list and could be up two later when it arrived after seeing it in the shop, very fustrating!  Even when I rang then to question it I got no satisfaction and was pased from one person to the next with the next person having no idea what I was talking about!  While I am all on for supporting our own they have to do their bit and keep within deadlines promised!  Hopefully it will be onwards and upwards for this magazine as it's nice to hear of our own runners and their achievements especially since we are a nation know to knock those athleats who achieve great sucess and kick them when their down! Guess after this I am firmly on this list now  after knocking the Irish Runner....sorry folks:( yvonne
