Hello all- newbie here,is there any website or technique that you can plan your run's distance.I usually zero my millage on the car and drive and area then run it.But this is not always possible as  my runs could be anywhere in Ireland as I'm a Bus Eireann driver and try stick to my 10k plan no matter where I am.So if I had a way to measure a distance online or even on a map the day before it would be very handy.

Yep, its got to be mapmyrun, great resource if you travel around, or if you look at some of the threads about Garmin GPS watches, they are excellent at recording distance. There is a section of unopened motorway under construction from Gort to Limerick, so when I was training for Connemara, I would head out on that, keep an eye on the watch and when I had 13 miles done say, I'd just turn around and come back. Easy :)

mapmyrun.com
walkjogrun.net
geodistance.com
fetcheveryone.com - I like this site as it allows you to record your training in a diary as well as measure yoru distance. All of the above sites do the same job as they are all basted on google maps. You can get an app for your iphone for the first two as well.
