Düsseldorf Marathon April 29th 2012

The Irish Business Network (IBN) in Germany is currently organising a Team for this years Düsseldorf Marathon and we're looking for Runners from Ireland to take part!
Now in its 10th year, the Düsseldorf Marathon along the Rhein is taking place on April 29th 2012 and is one of the most exciting races in Germany. The IBN has joined up with the race organisers to enter an IBN Team and we’re looking for 20 people from Ireland to take part, either as a relay team or as a solo runner. 20 runners from the Irish community in Germany are also taking part:
So if you want to be one of the 40 strong Irish team on the starting blocks, or be the first winner of the IBN Perpetual Trophy get in touch now as places are limited: Reduced entry fee (€40), IBN Team shirts and a post Marathon reception are all part of the package.
Of course, being an IBN event, there will also be an opportunity to meet with other members with events lined up throughout the weekend. We have also organised a number of Host families which will provide you with accommodation during your stay and help you settle in as you prepare for the run!
This Project forms an integral part of the IBN's goal to further strengthen the ties between the German/Irish community and Dublin and Düsseldorf.
