Half marathon cancellations
Hi there,
If anyone unfortunately has to drop out of the half marathon - I too am looking for one spot. Didn't think it would book up so quickly!

Unfortunately Race Entry cannot be transferred to another person.
This is common practice in races that fill early.
Our policy on the cancellation of a place is to offer guaranteed entry to next years event to the person who cancels if they let us know by emailing eval(unescape('%64%6f%63%75%6d%65%6e%74%2e%77%72%69%74%65%28%27%3c%61%20%68%72%65%66%3d%22%6d%61%69%6c%74%6f%3a%72%61%79%40%70%72%6f%61%63%74%69%76%65%2e%69%65%22%3e%72%61%79%40%70%72%6f%61%63%74%69%76%65%2e%69%65%3c%2f%61%3e%27%29%3b')) before March 1st. The reason we do not allow transfer of entry is simply that we have already allowed for a percentage of 'no shows' in our original estimation of finishers and another reason is on medical grounds as you can imagine the nightmare we'd have, treating someone thinking they were someone else.
