 I agree and acknowledge that participation in or observation of sport could constitute a risk of serious injury to myself, including permanent paralysis or death.
 
I voluntarily and knowingly recognize, accept and assume this risk and warrants to The Harlequin Adventure Duathlon team and all their helpers and associates that I am physically fit and able to complete and compete in this Adventure event without risking any minor or serious injury, including permanent paralysis or death to myself or to others.
 
Furthermore, I hereby release the Event Organizers, Harlequin Adventure Duathlon team, their Sponsors, Event Sponsors, Castlebar Town council, Mayo county council, Civil defence, Officials and Agents from any liability arising from my participation in this event.
