PowerAde Salmon Run Triathlon

This year will see the fourth annual PowerAde Salmon Run Triathlon take place. Ballina will welcome triathletes from all over Ireland who will test their fitness levels against each other in the hope of winning the prestigious event.

Preparations are well and truely underway for the 2009 Powerade Salmon Run Triathlon with a race committee set up to organise the event for 2009. The club wishes to build on the success of the previous years which has made it one of the most eagerly anticipated races on the 2009 Trithlon Ireland calender.

This years race wil take place on the 11th of July. Registration will be on line through www.liquidmotion.ie and will go live on Tuesday the 31st of March.

Due to the popularity of the event it is recommend that anyone who wishes to complete in the triathlon get online on the 31st of March and make sure of their place on the start line.

As a club they do not want to see anyone disappointed so make sure that you get in as early as possible and do not leave it too late as it is expected that the race to fill up quickly. The maximun number of entries will be 200.
