Oughterard Mayfly 10k Challenge

The Inaugural Mayfly 10K Challenge will take place on the shores of Lough Corrib in the picturesque village of Oughterard. The event is open to competitive runners, joggers and walkers as well as families and teams - everyone is welcome to join in - and all finishers will receive a medal to mark their achievement.
The course is a challenging one, but ultimately rewarding as it takes in some of the most beautiful views along the shores of Lough Corrib. Starting in the heart of Oughterard village, the race continues out along the lakeside on the high road a and back into Oughterard via the scenic Glann road.

Race registration takes place from 12:00pm on Sat afternoon and closes at 14:00. Race starts at 14:30. All competitiors will be chipped. Limited entry available on the day. Showers will be available after the event. Barbeque, music  and prize giving to follow the event in the Boat Inn - all included in entry fee.
