3rd Kinnegad 5k Road Race / Fun Run

Last years race was a huge sucess with nearly 500 runners on a hot sunny evening. The course record was smashed by over 40 seconds from the previous year again proving the route as fast and pb friendly.
The Senior Male winner was Barry Minnock in a new course record of 14.39
The Senior Female winner was Annette Kealy in a time of 18.09
Congratulions to Paddy Hamliton who came 2nd and went on the win the Irish Runner 5 mile that following Saturday.
3rd running of the Kinnegad 5k takes place on Wednesday 11th July @ 8pm. We will continue to build on all areas of the event to make it bigger, better and more enjoyable for everyone.
 Entry fee online will be: early bird price until May 31st €10 and €12 afterwards. Online entries close on Monday July 9th @10pm. Limited entries on the night also.

• Prizes: First 3 Senior Male/Female.
•              First 2 Masters Male/Female over 40,45,50,55,60.
•              First 2 Junior Male/Female (u19 as AAI Rules)
•              Prize for Breaking Course Record

Race pack pick up and on the day entries will be in Coralstown/Kinnegad Gaa Grounds
AAI Permit Granted
The course has been officially measured using a Jones's Counter

• The playing pitch & training grounds will be available for warm up & warm down 
• Hot Showers,changing facilities and bag drop available in clubhouse .
• Prizes will be presented on the evening once all competitors have completed the course.
• Light refreshments will be provided on the evening in the clubhouse
• Parking in Kinnegad Gaa grounds and will be clearly signposted and stewarded on the evening of the event.
• Race Results will be posted on Red Tag Timing website later on the night
