The Moone Kilomarathon is an annual event with the 2011 event taking place on Sunday the 7th August. Athletics Association of Ireland certified.This years Kilomarathon will be run over a NEW flatter and faster course, with the possibitly of a new Irish and World Record. There will also be a special memorial perpetual Trophy for the winner of the Kilomarathon, and there will also be a trophy for the 1st male and female of the 10km. All finishers will be presented with a special race medal. There will be cash prizes for the first 6 in all categories both male & female for best times in both the Kilomarathon and the 10km Please arrive early for this event and obey all systems in place. Registration for both events will be open from 09:00am in the Church Hall in Moone Village. Entry fee includes: Race entry, chip timing, Goody bag, entertainment, medal and refreshments. Entry fees are as follows: Kilomarathon 30 euro online and 35 euro on the day / 10KM road race 20 euro online and 25 on the day. The Kilomarathon starts at 11:30am and the 10 km starts at 11:45am. All proceeds are for Our Lady's Children's Hospital Crumlin.
