The Event
‘Hunters Trail Run’, will follow the hunt and horse trail within the grounds of Belmont Demesne, Bray, Co Wicklow. This event is open to complete beginners and to the more serious athlete. The 5 K event consists of one lap of a 5 K circuit for the more adventurous There is a 10 km adventure run, the circuit consisting of 2 laps of 5 km.

‘An adventure run’ you say, we think it is the best way to describe what we have planned for you …… so yes there will be:

Ø A dirt trail, gravel road and a field or two
Ø A forest, some up hill, some down hill, a great view
Ø Maybe some of natures little creatures, squirrels, rabbits [hares] and a pheasant or two

So what is different?
Ø The obstacles – tree trunks, a wall, a fence and some water too.
So don’t wear your best kit or new runners as they will get wet! Trail runners would be a great idea no matter the weather some obstacles will become wet and slippy.

Date & Time
The event is being held on Sunday (Day after St Patrick's Day), 18th of March 2012. The run starts at 10.30 a.m. and registration will be open from 9.00 a.m, then race briefing at 10.15 a.m.  Run starts at 10.30am. Gates closes at 10.15

There will be ‘on the day’ registration but this will cost €25.00 (we cannot promise a T-shirt) for the 10km and €20.00 for the 5 km. So don’t leave it until the last minute to register online and please remember that on-line registration will close on the 16th of March usually the Friday at 2pm.

From the airport (Southbound) take the M1, M50 and N11.
1. From N11 take Bray/Greystones exit and follow signs for Greystones through two roundabouts. Drive approx 2 kms and you will see the entrance to Killruddery House & Gardens continue to the roundabout ahead and the second left [head right] to Greystones approx 1 km up the road take the Right just before you crest the hill. Drives straight down take it slowly and you will be turning right into Belmont. We will have a few sign to help along the way.
2. From Bray Town take the Bray/Greystones road and follow signs from second roundabout at Bray Golf course and Ramada Woodland Court Hotel to Greystones (as above) take the Right just before you crest the hill. Drives straight down take it slowly and you will be turning right into Belmont. We will have a few sign to help along the way.
Terms & Conditions:
I am at least 18 years of age and have received by parents/guardian. I understand that participating in this event is potentially hazardous, and that I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained.
In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I assume full and complete responsibility for any injury or accident which may occur while I am travelling to or from the event, during the event, or while I am on the premises of the event. I also am aware of and assume all risks associated with participating in this event, including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effect of weather, traffic, and conditions of the road.
I understand that I enter the Click Events Ltd – ‘Hunt of a Run’ Race Series at my own risk and that neither Click Events Ltd, Belmont, any member of Brabazon Family, Duchas or any of our sponsors will be held responsible for any accident suffered or injury sustained by myself from any cause whatsoever or for any property lost, mislaid or stolen on the course or at the changing areas. Furthermore, I hereby grant full permission to any of the foregoing to use photographs, films or recordings of the event for any legitimate purpose. I understand that this waiver includes any claims, whether caused by negligence, the action or inaction of any of the above parties, or otherwise.
I understand that the entry fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
