Howth Triathlon Olympic Plus Enter Now

After the success of Howth Aquathon series 2010 healthpro: Nutrition and Exercise Specialists and Multi Sports Adventure Ireland have joined together again to host the Howth Triathlon on July 17th 2011. Howth Triathlon will form two races the Howth Olympic Plus (1.8 Km, 40 km Bike and 10 Km Run) and the Howth Sprint (750m Swim, 20 Km Bike and 5 Km Run) distance race. The Olympic plus race will begin out on the Island of Ireland's Eye and all competitors will swim 1.6 Km to the shores of Howth, where they will then begin the heart pounding and technical 40Km bike course which will then lead to a fast paced 10 Km run. The Sprint course is ideal for those who enjoy a fast sharp course or for those wishing to begin triathlon. The swim will begin behind the west pier in a deep water start. Competitors will head out to the bouy ahead and then turn left to the shores of Howth. After exiting the swim, competitors will sprint to transition and head out on the 20Km technical bike course finishing with a scenic 5Km run on the foreshore of Howth.
