To make the most of your listing we suggest you include as much information as possible within each section of the submission form below. Within the event description section be sure to include as much information as possible so people can make an informed decision about your event.
Suggested Information
- Who is hosting / organising the event, who will the event benefit?
- What does the event entail, is it suitable for walkers, joggers, experienced athletes and participants, is there a fun or kids element to it?
- When does it take place, what time is registration/ packet pick up on race day,
- Where does it take place, is the course flat, fast, hilly, off-road, coastal, undulating or has it PB potential?
- How can people register? Include a booking link to your online registration platform, if you don't have this sorted yet be sure to tick the njuko box below to hear from our partners njuko.com. Galway Santa Dash™ 5K & 10K Galway
Distance:
5K or 10K
Walkers, Runners & Children are welcome in both events
Location:
The name of the start is the Claddagh Hall, South Park, Co. Galway.
The run will then go along Grattan Road, turn on to the Promenade until you reach the aid station where runners will turn and continue back to Claddagh Hall.
Timing:
Chip timing will be provided by the Multisports.ie Event Management Team.
Santa Suits:
Suits are included in your entry fee and must be worn. Anyone finishing the race who is not in Santa costume will not be eligible for prizes or medals.

You can still register on race morning and you may collect your Santa Suits at the Claddagh Hall on the morning of the race from 10am to 11.45am. Race starts at 12pm sharp.
