East Galway AC 4 Mile Race

Open to All Walkers, Joggers, Runners
 
Race Numbers will be available for Pick Up prior to race at Abbeyknockmoy Hurling Club from 11AM until 1PM and On-the-day registration will also take place at that venue
Route
The race starts Just outside the beautiful village of Abbeyknockmoy at the Hurling Club Grounds and heads up the Newtown (Monivea) Road. You travel approximately 1 mile on an uphill route before turning right onto the KilgarveNorth Road. Again you must go approximately a mile and a quarter before turning again right at Oakwood North and heading back on a downward slope along the Farmhillroad. You continue on this road for almost 1.7 Miles until you pass St Bernards Church where you will turn Right onto the Main Abbeyknockmoy to Moylough Rad and after only 100 Metres you turn right again onto the Newtown road where you arrive at the Finish Line just outside the Hurling club. Full refreshments will be provided free of charge to both runners and helpers in the Abbeyknockmoy Hurling Club after the event.
Tea/Coffee/Water and sandwiches/cake/buns etc.
