All runners and walkers are welcome to the sunny South East for the first Annual Duncannon Run/Walk in aid of St James Cois na Nog. If you are a budding Olympian or just want to try and shed a few pounds after the Christmas excess Duncannon Run is for you.
The course is run on a clockwise loop from St James GAA pitch at Mersheen. The Roads will not be closed to traffic so all athletes should obey the rules of the road. Stewards will be on hand to assist with traffic and encourage runners on route. The cost of the event is €20 per runner. Entries will close 25th of February at 9pm.
Limited entries will be taken on the day of the event which will close at 11.00am. Race packs can be collected at St James Gaa Park, Mersheen on Sat 25th between 5.30pm & 7pm or on Race day between 9.30am & 11.30am. Goodie Bags and T shirts guarnteed for the first 350 entrants. Prize fund in excess of €1500.00.
Terms and Conditions
I know that running and walking races are potentially hazardous. I should not enter and run in this race unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the event. I assume all risks associated with running/walking including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high temperatures or extreme cold, the conditions of the road and traffic on the course, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release St James Gaa Club and all sponsors, their representatives or successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in the race and/or club activities, including loss or damage to personal property, even though liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of persons named in this waiver. I grant permission to all the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures or recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose.
