Bandon Half marathon and 10k

Bandon A.C. and Bandon Rugby Club are working together to organise a 10k and half marathon on 14th May. This will be the first year of this event which is ideally located 3 weeks before The Cork Full and Half marathons. The course is relatively flat so this should help your time, see map and course description for more details.  This race is suitable for all categories of runners, from the novice to the elite.
The half marathon will begin at 9.30am on May 14th.  You can enter online to pre register, the cost of entry should appeal- €25 for the half.
  The 10k race starts at 10am, with an entry fee of €15 if you pre- register.  Both races will be chip timed.
Race registration: Collection of timing chips and race numbers will be at Bandon rugby club on the Clonakilty road on friday 13th from 6.30pm to 9.30pm and also on the morning of the race from 7-9am.  A limited number of runners will be allowed to register on the morning of the 14th, but at the increased cost of €30 and €20 for the races respectively.
There will be a wide range of prizes distributed on the day, across all of the usual age categories.  There will also be prizes confined for members of the fit4life groups.
