online entry will be £28. entries will close 1 weeks prior to the event. Please make sure you have a one day licence purchased from triathlonireland.com no later than 3 days before the event if you are not already a triathlon ireland member. NO LICENCE NO RACE!!! As this is a  triathlon ireland sanctioned event, all rules must be adhered to.
The race will start at 1200. And registration will close at 1130am with the race briefing at 1145am. For all other race information either contact the race director opr go to www.bigsplashtriathlon.com.

the big splash triathlon is a sprint distance triathlon in portglenone. with a 750 meter open water swim in the river bann, 12 mile cycle and a 3 mile run.
We will have a 750 meter swim, this will suit alot of first time triathletes and also lead to some fast times from the more expierienced athletes as the river in this area has a very slow moving current. The bike course is on a rolling but fast road on a straight out and back route and the run is on a fast flat course. with the finish line located in the town centre. This is going to be a fast fun race!!!
