Running 20 Marathons in 2012 for the Inspire Foundation (ReachOut.com) They deliver practical and innovative online programs that help improve young people’s mental health and wellbeing; also providing a space where young people can discuss issues that really affect them, from drugs and alcohol to suicide and self harm, from exam stress to bullying. My goal is to raise €5,000 for Inspire Ireland by the time I run the last marathon, which will be part of the West of Ireland series on December 29th.

I ran my first on March 15th in Connemara, and have already had some unforgettable experiences this year such as: Going to the Clare mountains for the Madventure off-roader (billed as ‘Ireland’s toughest marathon’), completing three marathons in three days over the May bank holiday weekend (in Ballyhoura, Limerick and Belfast) as well as finally breaking the 4 hour barrier on the eighth attempt in Kildare.
